Muldrow House Land Description
The following described tracts or parcels of land, with the improvements
thereon:
FIRST:- The tract located on the right side of Shryock's Ferry Pike
going from Versailles toward Tyrone, and about 5 miles from Versailles,
and bounded generally on the North by Wade Hampton; on the east by the
lands of the Frazier Distillery Company; on the South by the Shryock's
Ferry Pike and the land of the Barbee Distillery Company; on the West by
the land of J.M. Ledridge and Filmore Sharp, and containing by estimate
between forty-five (45) and fifty (50) acres, but being sold as a whole
and not by the acre.
SECOND: The tract of land in Woodford County, Kentucky, adjoining the
Miller Land and on the North side of the Shryock's Ferry Pike and bounded
as follows: Beginning at a stone on the East side of the Grier's Creek,
corner to Lot No. 2, and the heirs of Johnson Miller, thence up the creek
S 26 1/2 E. 33 poles to a stone on the East side of creek corner to same;
thence S 16 E 8 poles 8 links to a stone on East side of creek, corner
to same; thence passing the creek S 10 W 12 poles to a stake on center
of pike; thence with pike N 27 W 24 poles to a stake in pike; thence N 35
W 24 poles to a stake in pike corner to lot No. 2; thence N 49 E 9 poles
to the beginning, containing two (2) acres, but be the same more or less.
THIRD: The tract of land in Woodford County, Kentucky, on the Shryock's
Ferry Pike near the Barbee Distillery Company, and bounded as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center of the Shryock's Ferry Pike corner to
Mrs. Octavis Sutherland's heirs, thence with her line North West 174 feet
to a stone fence in line of Mrs. Scott Ledridge thence in a Southwestern
direction with said stone fence and in the line of said Ledridge 470 feet
to a point in line of M.F. Sharp; thence with said line South East 174
feet to a point in center of said turnpike road; thence with said turnpike
road 470 feet to the point of beginning. the same being three identical
tracts or parcels of land, which were conveyed to the said Laura Belle
Strange and A.T. Strange in the proportion of two thirds (2/3) to said
Laura Belle Strange and one third (1/3) to said A.T. Strange by Lizzie
Littrell and Blue Littrell, her husband by deed of date April 19, 1923,
and now of record in the office of the Clerk of the Woodford County
Court, in Deed Book No. 30, at page 187. This is also the same piece
of property deeded by Laura Belle Strange and A.T. Strange, her husband,
to Kenneth Franzheim by deed of date February 12, 1929 and on record in
Deed Book 33 at page 11 as is shown by records in the Clerk's office of
the Woodford County Court.
