All of my brothers and sisters and many of their children
have passed on and left me alone "The last leaf on the
tree" of William Forman and Susan Parker and I can
truly say that not one of that bunch of leaves has fallen
in the mire and mud of despair.

At this writing - Dec 8th 1930 - Paul Forman and Louise
Brown have planted another tree on the old Forman
farm. The tree has twelve branches the same as
William and Susan had. Each branch has one
leaf and I hear from all sources "What a fine tree they are growing"

God bless them

By the way, while we are writing about tree and
centuries, there is an old cedar tree in the yard of the old
Forman homestead that my father and mother planted
the first Sunday after their marriage, 104 years ago.
They were on their bridal tour thru the primeval forest
down to the salt lick. On their way back home they
pulled up a little cedar tree. They planted it and
it grew like their children grew.

Go to see it you love sick boys and girls - get
down on your knees and make your vows of love
and keep them as they did.
