Emil, as he was known to his many friends, until his retirement was employed
with International Shoe Co. He was a member of Sullivan Lodge No. 156 I.O.O.F.
and an inactive member of the Sullivan Volunteer Fire Department.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Mable Jane, one son Harry Edwin Hardy and his wife
Beulah of Sullivan, Mo., two grandchildren, Ronnie Hardy and his wife Donita,
Doris Farmer and her husband Clarence, two great-grandchildren, Leigh Ann and
Greg Farmer, all of Sullivan, Mo., one sister, Mrs. Anna Belle DeClew, of
Sullivan, Mo., two brothers, Raymond Hardy of Bourbon, Mo. and Charles Hardy of
Sullivan, Mo., nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was
preceded in death by his parents, one son, James Murl, who died at the age of
13years and three sisters. A kind and loving husband, father, grandfather,
uncle and friend, he will be sadly missed by his loved ones and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 1965 from
Hassebroek's Memorial Chapel in Sullivan wit the Rev. L.H. Owens officiating.
Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Sullivan, Missouri. Services were
conducted by Sullivan Lodge No. 156 at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 1965.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Hassebroek's Memorial Funeral
Home, 201 Sappington Bridge Road, Sullivan, Missouri.
